We issued a press release about our research on the Czech public's perception of migration

How does the Czech public perceive migration and people who come to live here from other countries? The research of the Masaryk University sociological team tried to answer these and other related questions, the main goal of which was to explain the increase in anti-migration attitudes in the Czech Republic that appeared in our society after 2015.

Book finalized!

We have finalized our book summarizing the results of our three-years research endeavour entitled A Critical, Cultural Sociological Exploration of Migration Attitudes in Czechia to Rowman and Littlefield.

Field work is finished – the analysis begins!

The data collection is now finished, and we are analyzing the results. We are writing five scholarly articles in international journals, plus a monograph. We will be posting the articles as they are published. Stay tuned!

An infographic about migration!

Based on the completed interviews and requests from our research participants, we decided to create a concise and clear infographic on basic data and figures related to migration issues in the Czech Republic
